Overview
To streamline compliance and improve communication between platforms and the DPC, certified platforms are required to integrate with the DPC Oversight Node API Suite. These secure API endpoints enable real-time reporting, event alerts, and document exchange while upholding user privacy.
Integration with the API Suite and registration into the DPC developer system forms a critical part of certification and platform governance. Please note: API onboarding, license issuance, and portal registration incur administrative and infrastructure-related fees, which may be assessed either annually or as a one-time setup depending on the scale and category of the platform.

Core API Modules
All certified platforms must implement the following APIs:
Content Flag API
Reports flagged or harmful content directly to the DPC. Required for platforms hosting user-generated content.
Incident Notify API
Real-time alerts for high-risk incidents, including breaches, election interference, or platform-level disinformation events.
Audit Sync API
Used to transmit quarterly transparency reports, algorithmic update logs, moderation statistics, and compliance forms.
Gov Request API
Enables secure response to subpoenas, court orders, whistleblower submissions, or emergency takedown demands.
Badge Verify API
Public verification tool for confirming a platform’s active certification status through its displayed badge.
ContentFlag API
